History

During the summer of 2008, founders of Brave-Aid, Inc. were inspired by an HBO Documentary titled Baghdad, ER . The special chronicled the life in the emergency room of the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdads Green Zone during a two-month period. The impact that this documentary had was so moving and intense, it cultivated the inspiration for Brave-Aid.

Strategic Plan

The efforts of Brave-Aid, Inc. are multi-faceted. Starting with a sound foundation and strong alliances, we believe an internal structure – affording flexibility and rapid growth – will focus our efforts collectively across the USA. While keeping our purpose ever present in mind, we want to make a difference in the lives of our grantees.

Our Initial long term goal is to provide total gross aid in the amount of $50,000,000.00 (Fifty million). Obviously this is a long term goal and will require a shared, unified awareness of smaller goals along the way. Our excitement and heartfelt sentiment in making a difference is not limited to just providing financial assistance to those in need, but providing a unique employment opportunity for those who qualify for our team of National Funding Agents (NFA). It is our long term goal to have 1,000 National Funding Agents with each NFA being committed in raising awareness and financial aid for Brave-Aid, Inc. In regards to those seeking employment, qualifications are less stringent in terms of experience, but more in line with making sure EVERY NFA shares a sincere desire to serve our wounded Heroes. We believe that by engaging our employment efforts with like-minded individuals, whom spiritedly share our cause, we will establish a more steadfast base which, in return, will flourish in an atmosphere of positive efforts and creative ideas along the way.

Part of our Strategic plan is to foster long-term alliances and support from local and national business entities. These alliances are intended to procure funding and awareness for our wounded veterans. The procurement of aid can come in an assortment of methodologies. On an individual level as well as corporate level, our planning encourages individuals to host a full range of awareness building and fundraising programs.

We believe that we should not limit our opportunities to accomplish our missions but keep an open mind to new and creative ideas. The intrinsic structure of Brave-Aid, Inc. allows for its participants to cultivate new ideas as long as they operate in an ethical and honorable manner and adhere to our NFA Handbook.

Although our strategic plan is robust, we believe that all things are possible to those who believe.
